Amazon Saudi Arabia officially launched to replace Souq.com
Souq.com in Saudi Arabia is now amazon.sa, all the visitors of the souq website in the Kingdom are now redirected to the Amazon site, Almost a year ago, same thing happened, souq in UAE replaced with amazon.ae.

According to the statement of Souq and Amazon, the new store combines local experience and global experience in retail pioneered by Amazon, For the benefit of its customers inside Saudi Arabia, As they can purchase millions of products from local and international companies including companies within the Amazon american store. 

Amazon said, Today marks a milestone with Amazon.sa, we want to offer customers the ability to shop within a broader range of local products stated the co-founder of Souq Ronaldo Mouchawar, who is currently the vice president of Amazon for the MENA region. 

Amazon has transferred all the customer data of Souq including wishlists, orders, delivery addresses, payment methods and customer service inquiries to the new site, users can now start shopping directly on the new
