Violation of security camera regulations will be fined
The Saudi government has said that transferring or releasing or altering the recording of security CC cameras is a punishable offense with a fine of 20,000 riyals.

According to the Subak website, the Ministry of Interior, while giving details in this regard on the Twitter account, said that whoever is found guilty of violating the regulations for the use of security CC cameras. In which transferring, or releasing or destroying the recording or tampering with the camera equipment or altering the recording will be a violation of the prescribed rules and will be fined 20,000 Riyals. 

As per the rules and regulations set by the government, CC cameras are installed at various locations to monitor movement. Cameras do not include those installed by common people in buildings, housing complexes or houses etc. to ensure their security.

There is a formal law regarding the use of security cc cameras. Under this, the privacy of common people is taken care of. No one is allowed to watch their recordings without the permission of the Ministry of Interior. The Presidency of State Security or the Judiciary may grant access to the recordings of security cameras only after such cameras have been accessed. 

It is legally prohibited to manufacture, import, sell, install, operate or repair security cc cameras. None of the above matters are allow ed without the approval of the Ministry of Interior.
