Saudi Arabia extends visit visas to three months
The Saudi cabinet recently extended the validity period for all types of single-entry visit visas issued for visits of three months or less, and no fee will be assessed against transit visas.

The Saudi cabinet has announced an extension of stay periods for single-entry visas issued for visit purposes to three months, and no fee will be levied on transit visas. According to the Saudi news agency SPA, important decisions were reached during a Cabinet Meeting at Qasr Yamama in Riyadh on Tuesday by King Salman bin Abdulaziz.

The Saudi cabinet took nine decisions during the meeting, one of them is related to single entry visit and transit visa.

The cabinet decided regarding the transit visa that the validity of the transit visas will be 3 months, however, a stay of up to 96 hours will be allowed without any fee.

 According to the amendment, the validity of the transit visa is 3 months and the free period of stay is 96 hours. Single entry family visit visa is valid for 30 days while multiple entry visa will be valid for 90 days.
