New policy for PIA Special flight tickets
The Pakistani embassy in Saudi Arabia said in a statement that the PIA had issued a new policy for special flight tickets.

According to the statement, tickets for Pakistani special flights wishing to return from Saudi Arabia will now be available through the PIA office, authorized travel agents, the website of national airlines, and the PIA app.

Pakistanis will no longer need to visit embassies or consulates to get tickets," the statement said.

It may be recalled that earlier tickets for special flights were being issued by the PIA staff at the embassy and consulate.

A statement from the embassy said, "The government of Pakistan has fixed unilateral fares for Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, Faisalabad, Karachi and Multan from all cities of Saudi Arabia."

"A one-way economy class return ticket from Saudi Arabia will be available for 1816 riyals, while a special economy class will be available for 2182 riyals."

"If a travel agent demands more than the fixed rate, the embassy or PIA should be contacted," the statement said.
