New Pakistani passport fee schedule in Saudi Arabia
The embassy and consulate in Saudi Arabia have issued a new schedule of passport fees for 2021, according to which the fees have been slightly reduced.

In the newly issued schedule, the fee for a 36-page passport renewed for five years has been increased from 84 riyals to 86 riyals in 2020. 

Speaking to Ardonews, Hamza Gilani, Press Consul General at the Consulate General in Jeddah, said, "The reduction in fees has been made in the context of fluctuations in the value of the dollar in Pakistan."

due to the change in the value of the dollar, the passport fee has been reduced accordingly. The press consul further said that no notification has been issued yet regarding the shortcomings indicated by the Federal Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed nor has the Foreign Ministry issued any instructions in this regard. It may be recalled that Pakistani Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed had said that the Prime Minister has decided to give more privileges to migrants on special instructions, in this regard, ten-year passport for migrants living abroad, especially in the Middle East. The fee will be Rs 3,000. According to the fee schedule issued by the embassy in Saudi Arabia, the fee for a normal passport for 10 years is set at 152 riyals, up from 155 riyals last year. You will now have to pay 140 riyals to get a 36-page urgent passport, compared to 143 riyals last year, while the fee for a 36-page 10-year urgent passport has been reduced from 257 riyals to 252 riyals

The fee for a 72-page 5-year normal passport has been reduced from 158 riyals to 154 riyals, while the urgent fee has been reduced to 252 riyals from 257 riyals last year. Similarly, the fee for a 72-page 10-year normal passport has been reduced from 283 riyals to 278 riyals, while the fee for making an urgent passport in this category has been fixed at 454 riyals which was 463 riyals last year. The fee for a 100-page normal passport has been increased to 168 riyals. For the same category, the fee for a 10-year normal passport has been increased to 303 riyals, while the urgent fee has been increased to 605 riyals, which was 309 and 617 riyals last year.
