On Monday, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman appointed 156 investigative officials at the Public Prosecution with the rank of a lieutenant.
“The new appointments reflect the King’s care and keenness on the effective functioning of the Public Prosecution so as to fulfill the role assigned to it. Appointing women as members of the prosecution comes within the goals of the Vision 2030, which is to empower Saudi women and expand the circle of their work in order to enable them to contribute, along with their male counterparts, to the nation building process,” he said.
Al-Dosaimani said the new members have undergone intensive and specialized training courses that have improved their competence prior to their appointment as members of the Public Prosecution. They have been provided them with both theoretical and practical training necessary for working in the fields of judiciary and prosecution.
